Lighting Node CORE Firmware – The Corsair User Forums

Kindly take this quick survey to greatly help us enhance our community forums and community involvement: study. Character: Lighting Node Pro Firmware.

I don’t understand where else to create this.. I’ve had my Lighting Node professional for about 3 days today with 3 ML professional RGB mm followers attached with it , and from time to time link will tell myself there is a firmware inform available for the node pro, when i click ok absolutely nothing takes place, the firmware version has remained on 0. Can anyone tell myself just what the current version is, and how I have my node pro updated?

One prospective supply of the problem could possibly be that i’m using an interior nzxt usb hub i never had any issues with it til I acquired the node pro though , this is thanks to Asus within their infinite wisdom of only including one usb 2 header on my motherboard.

We have only 2 devices attached to the usb hub, my node pro, and my Hi professional fluid cooler. Another problem that could be related, is sometimes once I start link up, my Hello and my node pro are not able to arrive website link is literally empty, with very little, not even detectors show up , a reboot fixes this, and i believe it could be related to a continuing sensor concern that Asus are meant to be repairing soon in a bios change.

Sorry for the long winded message, and thank you for taking the time to learn it. Run like hell, those tend to be alien lemons! The newest firmware for any Node Pro is 0. I’m uncertain why connect will be letting you know that there’s a new version out there; that smells like a bug in my experience. You would do the firmware inform when you go to choices But there’s you should not try this. What is happening is the fact that the hub is neglecting to initialize as a result of the AsMedia implementation.

Luckily, a reboot fixes you right up. This remark is supplied “as-is”, without guarantee of any sort, express or suggested, including, although not limited to, the sanity or mental fitness associated with author.

That is very strange, i’ll attempt to remember to get a screenshot next time it informs me there’s a firmware enhance for my LNP : If I recall properly both USB Legacy help and XHCI Handoff are already enabled during my bios, i’ll take a peek the very next time i’m rebooting my rig to see where those are at. We have no clue why Asus thought it had been smart to give us only one usb 2 header, i think they corrected that in the Crosshair VII Hero though, but I do not have to update to that board now.

I have another quick concern, currently my Hi professional forgets the performance rpm settings i apply for my pump after i energy my rig down, I personally use the “set current configurations as unit defaults” selection for my pump, and it’ll bear in mind it if i do a reboot, but it won’t if we shut down my rig, it goes straight back to balanced rpm upon switch on.

Loading up link once windows loads up puts it back again to overall performance, but the pump does not appear to be storing configurations on a turn off. Anything else appears to conserve to my pump just fine, e. That one right here to be specific! Everything works in balance, perhaps because I don’t have AsMedia chipsets that we have read may be a problem as mentioned by Devbiker. Perhaps you could possibly fix the firmware up-date pop up message.

Oh i’m fully alert to the difficulties surrounding the ASMedia usb chipsets, but i’m not even certain that this is basically the cause of the problem..

I possibly could try giving link a clean install, but i may wait til i reinstall windows on the a few weeks just an os refresh, devoid of difficulties with anything else aside from a sluggish startup.

The pump not recalling the rpm profile i save to it on a turn off is a totally seperate problem though, a buddy with similar cooler and motherboard as me comes with the same concern, the pump keeps its profile spared for the rpm on a reboot, but on a shutdown it really is back again to rpm balanced rather than rpm performance. The custom color profiles we have both set-to our pumps are retained though, it is simply perhaps not fully preserving the rpm profile.

I’ve affixed a screenshot of website link and my unit manager with usb devices expanded anyways. No, this might be an alternative issue. Can you disable Fast Startup in Windows? Sorry for the late response, already been busy with a few material during my life. Is not switching fast startup off simply a bandaid to the problem though? We never really had any difficulties with the performance profile sticking to my Hi V2, even when the device was off for some days roughly.

We think it is unusual that performance mode is sticking for reboots, yet not shut downs, this could indicate the storage actually being written completely in the Hello Pro, undoubtedly? Windows Fast business is not perfect and there are problems with it away from possible not definite problems with Corsair’s material, specifically pertaining to device detection and how that interacts together with your system’s hardware.

That doesn’t explain why it really is good using the Hi V2 though.. changing down fast startup could have a reasonably huge affect my startup times, right? Really, I’ve perhaps not observed a difference between having it allowed rather than. I boot from NVME. As soon as i got the pump set to performance, i can perform as numerous restarts as I prefer while the speed will stick, however, if I actually do a shut down, i have to hang around til link loads before it is during the rpm I would like it at.

It isn’t saving towards the product, no matter what often times i click the button to save the options into the device.

Like we keep saying, this was never difficulty with the Hello V2 on a single system. I don’t have link enabled on windows startup any more either, I am having to begin it up then shut it once the pump profile kicks in. There are unusual cpu use issues that i understand have already been posted about therefore I will not enter detail.

If for any reason I cannot go into my OS and i need certainly to reinstall it or diagnose one thing, I am not gonna have the ability to change the pump speed and this does concern me only a little. Would not mind being informed the things I’ve done wrong.. I’ve kept my cool, not been flippant or insulting by any means.. We only recently enhanced towards the RMx. Presently there’s this problem using the Hi Pro and it’s being overlooked?? i am sure I am permitted to be unhappy about that.
